Planning a destination production

The practical points to settle before the first travel day.

What should a photo set for a bookable tour or activity show?

Start with a wide lead image that makes the activity clear, even on a small booking card. The opening images should vary, match the listing and show real participation. The rest can follow the experience from arrival to its defining moments, including practical details such as guides, transport, equipment or food when they matter.

How do you plan an outdoor brand shoot for campaign and retail use?

First we separate the campaign story from any retailer or e-commerce requirements. Products and colourways, sample sizes, casting, image ratios, filenames, metadata, video specifications and usage rights are agreed before the shoot, so the same production can deliver the formats that are actually needed.

What should a destination content brief include?

The audience, markets, campaign timing, channels, must-have places and experiences, practical access and intended use. This gives the production a clear job beyond collecting attractive views.

Can one production serve campaign, social, media and trade teams?

Yes, when those uses are planned before travel. Photography, film, drone, vertical cuts and supporting details can follow one visual idea and be delivered as channel-ready selections.

How are access, rights and releases handled?

Responsibilities for access, people, model or talent releases, property or artwork permissions, drone access and relevant third-party rights are agreed before production.

How is a reusable destination library delivered?

Review points, selects, formats, naming, metadata and the library structure are set in the scope. Assets can be grouped by place, activity, theme or channel so partner teams can find and reuse them.

What can you provide for a tourism production RFP?

A proposal can set out relevant work, the proposed team and equipment needs, schedule, budget structure, review process, licensing terms, releases, editing and final delivery. Assumptions and responsibilities are made explicit for the assignment rather than hidden in a generic package.

Go far enough to bring back something people can feel.
