The GoPro X Seoul Project


In reference to the upcoming Olympic Games in South Korea, I teamed up with GoPro, I-Seoul-U and Athlete Nina Gigele to experience the country’s capital. The goal was to produce a short social media clip to share across GoPro’s and the City Government’s online platforms.

When locals saw the content we produced in their city, they asked us “All of this is Seoul?”. Yes! From mountains to the largest indoor ice climbing wall in the world; From the top of N Seoul Tower on board of a yacht, the oppportunities are endless and we captured many of those picturous moments within seven days on GoPro cameras only.

The photos and videos were published on GoPro’s global channels.

When Seoul was recognized globally through the Olympic Games, GoPro had a great marketing effect and the City of Seoul could use GoPro’s network to get attention to potential visitors.
